This Marina is designed to be a 200+/- slip, full service marina that will handle boats ranging from 40 to 100 feet with dry stack facilities capable of holding 200 boats up to 40 feet. The marina will provide state of the art docks and amenities including large stable docks, wide fairways and turning basins, full power and fibre optics (cable, phone and Internet) and "pump out" located along each of the docks. The boat yard will provide maintenance for most yachts and lift capabilities for boats up to 80'.
The Marina Village is approximately 5 hectares in size and is envisioned to be the heart of activity for Port St George and Long Island. The pedestrian oriented village will maintain the traditional Bahamian home theme of low rise buildings (2 to 3 storeys) constructed in the local style and will include restaurants, boutique shops, retail outlets and water-front themed venues. The village will allow for a connection between the boutique hotel, residential areas, marina, sea and ocean and provide access to other water-based activities such as sport fishing, diving, sailing and touring the Long Island coast and other Bahamian Islands.
